Question: What intrigued you most about gene science? Why not another type?

I am originally a protein and mechanistic scientist… but more I am working in science, more time I have seen that we need to investigate genes expression.
I was investigating the molecular mechanism of embryo attachment onto the uterus at a protein level. However, we had more data from a genetic point of view.
