• Question: Is it possible to create something that gives an extra gene?

      Yes… There are technique to add genes. The most recent technique is CRISPR/Cas9. Using enzymatic reaction, we can add or remove genes from a specific region of the ADN.
      However, none of these are applicable to humans for ethical reason.
      It is forbidden to edit the human genome (even embryos).
