I pursued a veterinary degree because I love animals and especially when they are in good health. This inspired me to imagine and relate what genes could be responsible for them being unwell, health, sad, happy or productive! So I decided to study genetics in order to answer my burning questions!

I didn’t do a vetinary degree but as this qustion was asked of me I’ll answer as best I can. For me I started in genetics after studying physics, applying these studies to engineering manufacturing, then biochemistry before reaching genetics. Now I’m here I can’t thinking of doing anything else. I am fascinated by evolution, and want to study it more expecially applied to baveria and micobes. The qustions you can now attempt to answer with next generation sequencing are simply amazing.
